Ephesians 6:11 GNT
[11] Put on all the armor that God gives you, so that you will be able to stand up against the Devil's evil tricks.
Your suit of armour is custom made; tailor made so to speak.
Your salvation story, is unique. That gives you a custom made helmet.
No one has walked your sanctification journey. John nor Susan can't lend you their breastplate of righteousness to face your daily battles against the schemes of the enemy. because your journey has been like no other.
The same concept applies for the other pieces of armour.
David illustrates this so well when he refuses to wear Sauls suit of armour because it is ill-fitting.
David then goes on to tell of his own testimony of the battles hes fought and won and rather knows confidently in whom his success in the battle will come from. He has his own suit of armour;God.
Points To Ponder
Are we dressed in our own suit of armour that was given to us by God everyday?
Did you know soldiers sleep in their suits of armour? They dont lay them down while in battle. Don't lay down your suit of armour
Live in the baldness that we are fully equipped for the journey of life as Christians to live victoriously to accomplish what's been set before you.
Soldier on confidently with the full knowledge of Who is in you and Whom you're in.
