Magnify The Lord With Me

Exodus 17:11-13 ESV [11] Whenever Moses held up his hand, Israel prevailed, and whenever he lowered his hand, Amalek prevailed. [12] But Moses’ hands grew weary, so they took a stone and put it under him, and he sat on it, while Aaron and Hur held up his hands, one on one side, and the other on the other side. So his hands were steady until the going down of the sun. [13] And Joshua overwhelmed Amalek and his people with the sword. With his hands raised Moses understood, that while his hands remained in that position, the battle raging was being won His hands raised was a position of victory His hands raised was a position of surrender to who was really fighting the battle....and it wasn't the men fighting below His hands raised was a position of worship to the most valiant of all Warriors, El Gibbor His heart must have overflowed with worship even as his arms ached in sheer exhaustion. Together with the 2 men on either side of him holding up moses's arms they must have sung. Psalm 34:4 ESV Psalm 34:3 -4 ESV [3] Oh, magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt his name together! [4] I sought the Lord, and he answered me and delivered me from all my fears. Consider What's is the position of your heart in the heat of the battle? What is the position of your arms in battle? Are they raised in praised or folded in fear Who are your Aron and Hur? Oh, magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt his name together!
