Holding on or Letting go

Holding Onto or Letting Go Psalm 23 states that God sets a table for us in the presence of thr enemies. Jesus set the perfect example of sitting and dining in the presence of an enemy. In Matthew 26:20 we read that Jesus was reclining at the table with the disciples to eat the Passover supper. Jesus was able to recline and eat at the table with the one who was about to betray Him. He wasn’t anxious knowing what was coming, but He stayed at the table because of the greater good. He wasn't offended by the man He had known intimately for 3 years. Christ even washed His feet as He did the other 11 disciples . Christ would have considered Judas repentance and restored him like Peter after his denial. But we know how the story ends for Judas. Christ took no offense because of the bigger picture; the greater good. Our Salvation and the salvation of humanity the past 2 millennia would not have been available if Christ chose to take offence with Judas. What are we missing out because of choosing to take and hold onto offence? What are other's missing out on because we are holding onto offence? Let Gods will unfold perfectly in ours and others lives as we surrender our ego, our self preservation. Holding onto, taking offence is an active choice; so is letting go. 🙏🏽
