Words, The Word

How do you describe death to a person who has never known death snatch your loved ones?

How do you describe hunger to a person who has never known a meal skipped intentionally and has no idea where the next meal is coming from?

How do you describe having no place to call home to anyone

Or the pain of your first heart break

The pain of circumcision to a boy

The depth of betrayal from a loved one

The bewilderment when disaster strikes

The death of hope when you are against the wall

Words fail indeed

Tears can't come quite as close as you hope

You pray noone would ever encounter such pain

Never encounter such circumstances

Better still, you pray that when disaster strikes, whatever each ones portion may be, they will find comfort, truth, peace and strength in the arms of He who relentlessly tries to prove His love for us.

In His Word

In Him; the Word

For it is everlasting

He does come through
