To Will or Not to Will

Even great men as Moses prepared for the inevitable ; his death. His instructions were well laid out for Joshua to follow and had trained him on what God's expectations were of Him.

Let's not leave a leadership void of the legacy we have created. Let the work of our hands be established, carried even further by our offspring.

Encourage them, train them. Let the experts handle the technical issues (lawyers, real estate, create a trust fund). Ensure they are guided by God's word constantly.

Commission your heirs. Let the world know they will be acting on your behalf with your blessings as you consider them able and they should be accorded that regard. Bless them for it won't be an easy journey but give them some word that will always remind them of their heritage. Something that reminds them of where they've come from and where they are going. Impart solidly, your vision as their leader.

Moses prepared for his burial amply and when he died, they mourned properly as they were well prepared. His heir Joshua is described in Deuteronomy 33;9 as filled with the spirit of wisdom because Moses had laid hands on him.

Bless our children. Write a will.
