Unbound

Many of us are bound and tied with the paralysing issues of the past. We've moved into the light of the God who calls us but we can move no farther. We are bound hand and foot with the grave clothes of our pain. When God's called ones remain tied up, they often become cynical, angry and tempestuous. Can you imagine what it would be like to wake up and discover you were tightly bound in a sheet in a room of stinking bodies with no hope of escape. Your dead, killed by your past but yet alive. We need mature passionate, compassionate men and women of God to loose others of this strips. Strip by strip, they say, we are going to unravel the nightmares. We are going to unravel your attitudes, anger and temperament. We refuse you to go back to the grave! We are called to rob society's graves to reach decaying people trapped, wrapped and rolled into a tomb! Lets be so desperate for their souls. Lets be so desperate for our own souls that if it means we'll have to scream, scratch and tear at our graveclothes, lets. Lets be so desperate that we'll scream ourselves hoarse when we can't push the grave open. Let them know we're alive and well. Crawl on your stomach but get out of that grave! (paraphrased from Loose That Man & Let Him Go!)
