Cold Chamomile Tea With a Dash of Citric Acid

Oh its delicious! We sipped on it with this lovely couple this weekend. Forgot to ask if it was an experiment or an accident that this was discovered. Did you know tea masala in stew is very nice or cummin seeds in pancakes is to die for? The last two really were accidents I made in multitasking with other chores. Nice accidents I might add.

Silence, stillness provides an amazing chance to discover. To reflect on some of our accidents, some of our mistakes. It provides clarity on the truth spoken of the wise. It provides on direction, paths best to take.

Its been very very quiet. Very very still. Almost could hear the twinkling of the stars. A silence from within thats nurtured anchors, light, a song, a hope, a resilience that allows to bend but not break. A bouyancy to float with a smile. A certainty of the true essence of me.

But the most striking discovery in the silence, almost tangible, is the urgency of NOW!

Now is when to laugh. Not tomorrow. Now.

Now is when to play.
Now is when to sing.
Now is when to love those next to you.
Not tomorrow now. You see just like you and me, they want to be loved. Need to be loved. Not a pat on the head like my dear puppy contends with. Deep heartfelt words, with a gaze into their eyes.
Not a one liner sms that costs a bob. Real love that you know takes a chunk out of you. Amazingly, that very bit grows back and the void is filled quickly.

Not just romantic love my friends, we urgently need to love those close to us. Those who thrive on our love. A kind word, an encouraging nod, a smile, a held hand.

Not tomorrow. Today. Invest in your inner circle, but invest heavily in them.

May we smell their fragrance, their essence as flowers sweet, unique

May we savour their beauty from within as a sunset never yet seen

May we embrace them in our hearts with an embrace that lets them feel safe, sure.

We can because when we do, it comes right back to us.

Lets make heavy investments urgently, purposefully, intentionally Now! Who knows what tomorrow holds?
