Kitty over ate yesterday. He lay on his back oblivious of puppy (shujaa) in the room. Often kitty puffs up and has given the poor dog a swipe or two with his claws. Yesterday he slept.
He was feeling safe. Content. Many of us don't. Scars from the past, real or unreal fears deny us that.
Our trust in God should be our comfort. But many of us are crying tears as we rise, as we sleep, at noon. David in psalm 39 wept too.
May our hope even thru the tears remain in Him, for He alone can see us thru.
