Nemo Lost His COlour

Finding Nemo the movie is a classic. The colour, the adventure, the emotion, the trust it will all be well.

One scene that strikes my mind in particular is one where Nemo's dad and the beautiful blue fish Dory are swimming alongside a huge school of dull grey fish swimming in one direction looking like they are going through the motions of life; passionless. Its a scene of contrasts as Marty (Nemo's dad) and Dory and are on adventure of their lives. You can feel their excitement and the music too makes the viewer want to be part of it.

The story takes an interesting twist when in the brief moment these 2 contrasts are going past each other, they are all caught in a fishermans net. The grey fish do it how they always have and swim up (and always end up on our plates) Their guests ask they do it differently; swim down and it results in the fishermen's nets breaking and them swimming away free.

Marty et al were there at the right time with the right spirit to save the day. Wonder would have happened if Marty et al lost their colour and passion, their focus to not just go through the day but live the day in abundance? Were the grey fish ever coloured I wonder? Could they become colourful either?
