For the town many have come to love as a symbol that has been an oasis for weary travellers and a refuge for the hurting, Nakuru town which has hosted a refugee camp 10 months of over 10,000, is under threat from losing this status. Our sisters and brothers and their children live like a foreign nation within our own.Seemingly abandoned by those who we trusted to protect and serve us, that includes you and me, these camps have deteriorated to cess pools of human vices and the spill over is hurting the community..How quickly we forget how far we have come. Only recently within 4 hours many millions were raised in the same town for Rhinos.Or have our priorities changed?Dont you wonder what happens when you keep sweeping dirt under a carpet?
