The carrots were never more beautifully grated, never more beautifully shaped
Each piece… you need to buy a new grater to understand
A new grater is the way to go I say
That there was my ice cream moment
Unique, wonderful, a never before experience
Carrots perfectly shaped
They seemed that they might even taste better then ever before
And then a sadness engulfed me
Some of us chase that very moment there all our lives
some of us chase that first ice cream moment all their lives
that experience like no other
chasing the sensation that the first high gave them
like the Gollum chasing his precious
yet its so elusive
so close yet ever not quite
it just cant ever happen again
it happened then
each moment is a once in a lifetime moment
it was and never will be
ever again
but rather the best we can ever come close to is making each moment thereafter seem as its first
however mundane it seems
savouring it as such
unique
exotic
a moment made just for you
even grating carrots
even getting out of bed
there never will be another moment as precise as that
there will never be a another moment as precise as this
