Why is it then that so many of God’s people, “Christians” as they call themselves, seem to be like the walking dead? On the one hand believing in Jesus, but on the other lacking that gleam in the eye, lacking that sense of vitality and purpose, as though their eternal reality in Christ’s Presence means nothing to them
Lord feed the fire in our souls that we may fathom somewhat what you have in your heart for us.
So don’t allow your hearts to grow dull or lose your enthusiasm, but follow the example of those who fully received what God has promised because of their strong faith and patient endurance.
