Love is spelt T.I.M.E

Love to children is spent time.

Fadhili two days back, came off the School van and right there were two camels. Well, in his four and a half year old life, never were they this close.

But here its not unusual so for us its an exciting moment. Very exciting.

He enjoyed the 10 minute ride and is still talking about it. It cost me 10/- and 10 minutes but it was about being there at that moment in time with him to see it happen.

Teaching him to ride his bike has been quite an adventure too, as we enjoy the green of the countryside with Tony the Turkey watching us, wondering why we aren't marvelling at his feathers.:-)

Though not conventional parenting, and for which I have been criticized for, my true wealth is in my children and given a chance, I would do it again; make time for them.

I don't write to show off or make anyone feel guilty. I will tell you, its meant making insane sacrifices and its a very hard road to travel. Its not for the faint hearted but with God ahead of you, reconsider rescheduling more time for the gifts we have only for a season.
